Love Will Tear Us Apart" : Ian Curtis (Joy Division)

The headstone marking the final resting place of deceased Joy Division singer Ian Curtis is suddenly missing.

Whoever stole it is a total douche, and deserves a special place in hell where screaming emo demons torture them with burns from a thousand clove cigarettes, poke them with a million blunt eyeliner applicators, and blind their eyes with painfully asymmetrical hair extensions for all eternity.

The grave marker, wherever it is now, reads: "Ian Curtis 18 - 5 - 80" and the words "Love Will Tear Us Apart".

Malware anyone?

So this week has been another adventure! This week my husband's computer was infected with a rather nasty piece of malware. We have no idea where it came from, but it apparently damaged the master boot record. Ugh. After quite a bit of research we seem to have found a solution and we called a tech guy to fix it for us. He's recovered all of the profiles except my husband's, which is f*****g encrypted. This guy seems to know his way around a computer, so hopefully he can crack it. I'm just terrified. I haven't backed up or pictures since February, and I don't want to lose them.

Also this week we had a two day backyard camp-out! We thought we'd give it a try to see how the twins take to sleeping in a tent. Day one was great, day two... Well, I ended up back in the house around five AM to try get some sleep, (ask my husband.) The twins took to it so well that I don't think we'll have any problems next year. Now, we just need to get them some fishing poles! :-)

And finally, to celebrate the fourth, we had a barbecue last night since my Honey had to work tonight. We had my ex-in-laws over as well as on of our neighbors. It was a small affair, but we had a great time. Tonight my husband came home just in time to meet us at the city park near our house for the annual fireworks. It's actually an all day event thatculminate in the fireworks. We enjoyed the band they had there, the kids had cotton candy, you know, all the good stuff! I love watching them there. They launch them over the lake and the reflection combined with the pyrotechnics themselves are just amazing.

If you are like the rest of the world=YouTube=jaws dropped and money now sure can buy some good advices! Those big pair of eyes are everywhere. Where is your cellular phone, laptop, desktop computer with a camcorder, point and shoot camera that also serves as video and 24/7 citizen journalism? They are all around us now. I wonder if big companies like Viacom can really use money buy all now to retrieve all their ouches from the past? Or its the bandage to repair our more deepen broken system of

broccoli, cauliflower, cucumber, garlic scapes, green zucchini and yellow crookneck squashes, daikon radish, swiss chard.
tons of stuff. this early in the season I'm already sick of the squashes - not too fond of them to begin with.

the daikon should be interesting. the only way I've ever had it is shredded, a garnish in a sushi plate.
